Girls Who Code

For our final projects, my group of 4 decided to create an infinite 2d game (using Javascript) that would emphasize the absurdity of expectations placed on people based on their biological sex.
For our client project, we were tasked to create a website for another person. My client wanted a website dedicated to her favorite kpop band.
We also were able to experiment with arudino, creating a robot that would move depending on the input it got from a photosensor.

Girls Who Code is a non-profit organization that focuses on closing the gender gap in the Tech field. Students who participate in the Summer Immersion Program (SIP), learns about coding and technology over the course of 7 weeks, covering a new topic each week.

As a member, my role included:

  • Designing banners, logos, and merchandise using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign, serving 800+ scholars
  • photographing and edited pictures of various RCSA events using Adobe products
  • Copy-editing all promotional announcements before being released to social media platforms
  • redesigning Inter-UC Conference 2020 website, serving Regents' members from all 9 UCs
